Our MISSION
The NorMeL Foundation Inc, established in 2021 in honor of Melvina Peters and Norman Peters, is dedicated to fostering educational opportunities and community engagement. The organization focuses on providing essential educational resources and scholarships to underprivileged students, ensuring they have the support needed to achieve academic success. Additionally, The NorMeL Foundation Inc organizes a variety of community events, including givebacks, to enrich local neighborhoods and cultivate a spirt of solidarity and mutual support. Through its initiatives, the foundation aims to create lasting positive impacts and honor the legacy of its namesakes.
Our Reason
The NorMeL Foundation Inc., is a non-profit organization, founded in 2021 in honor of Melvina Peters, our Mother, and Norman Peters, our brother.
Our mission is to uplift Black and Brown communities through philanthropy, expanded access to resources, and education. Your generous donation enables us to continue this vital work.
Some of our recent efforts include distributing bookbags, providing essential resources and food to underserved neighborhoods, and offering educational workshops for adults and children alike.
